Virtualization technology in now available on the Canadian Web host's dedicated server hosting plans.

April 18, 2008 (TopHosts News Brief) Toronto, Canada-based Web hosting provider, Cirrus Tech has announced the availability of virtualization technology on its dedicated server hosting plans.

The same virtualization technology used in Cirrus’ Virtual Private Server (VPS) hosting plans is now available in a standalone dedicated server. The monthly cost of the upgrade is minimal.

Cirrus notes that the major advantage of a dedicated server with virtualization technology is fast scaling time. Additionally, virtualization eliminates the need to manually recreate an instance of a server, which can be a time-consuming process.

Cirrus Tech (www.cirrushosting.com) uses Virtuozzo by Parallels in its Web hosting plans that encompass virtualization technology.
